  • This is My Story, This is My Song

    A new musical re-discovering the great hymns of the faith and the stories behind them. A dozen beloved hymns are brought to vibrant life– featuring gorgeous acappella singing, stunning historical costumes, and richly realized characters. Spanning three-hundred years and five countries, this timeless musical is an inspiring reminder that there are some things worth singing about forever.

  • A Kingdom Tale

    One epic story. Two actors. Eleven songs. Sixteen characters. Countless laughs. This musical comedy is filled with the most characters we've ever packed into a show and features one unforgettable beauty pageant. It's a suspenseful, silly and engaging musical that tells the story of Esther, the unlikely queen who's faith is tested by a ruthless plot to destroy her people.

  • The Psalm King

    This passionate, moving and frequently hilarious musical is based on the life and psalms of King David. Original music, set to David's psalms are woven throughout the story of this shepherd boy turned giant-killer, poet and renegade, mighty warrior, chosen king...Who, despite his humanity, lived an extraordinary life in pursuit of the heart of his God.

  • My Name is Daniel

    A lions' den... a fiery furnace... No, it's not "Survivor: the Musical." It's a new take on the story of Daniel– complete with a "Sound of Music" parody. Directed by Jeff Miller (formerly of The Refreshment Committee) and featuring musical arrangements by Michael Pearce Donley of Triple Espresso, it’s one of our most entertaining and moving shows (and our only show involving A THIRD ACTOR, Nathaniel Norton)

    Runtime: 75 minutes, or 60 minute shortened version

  • A Misfit Christmas

    Smile, laugh and hum along to your favorite Christmas carols as a tone-deaf angel, an absentminded census taker, a cow, a little drummer girl, and several other misfits share their offbeat and charming stories of the first Christmas. This music-filled morsel is perfect for any holiday event.

    Runtime: 35 minutes, 45 minutes with Carol sing-along at the end, or 60 minutes with opening Christmas story, Peas and Joy, and Carols at the end.

  • The Rough and The Holy

    An engaging, honest and emotional one man play discovering the life of Jesus, the "friend of sinners." Memorable characters from the Gospel accounts are brought to life in a creative, theatrical and powerful way. Peter, Simeon, Judas, Zacchaeus, a young shepherd, Mary Magdalene and many others all share their stories of who Jesus was to them. Perhaps through them you will see more clearly who Jesus is to you.

    Runtime: 50 minutes, or 30 minute version

  • Step Into the Story

    Imaginative and most definitely NOT BORING re-tellings of some of your favorite tales from the Bible!

    Storyteller, playwright, performer, theater teacher, and published children’s author, Jeremiah Gamble, combines his passion for retelling Bible stories, twenty-five+ years of professional experience writing and performing original theater, and ten+ years of creating theater with students, to bring to life to some favorite Biblical tales through storyteller theater that engages the audience’s imagination and senses– inviting them to Step Into the Story and experience it in a whole new way.

    Runtime: 45 minutes, but rather customizable. Each story is about 7-10 minutes long.
    Appropriate for all audiences (a home-run for families and Pre-K through 6th)

  • The Bigger Picture

    It’s open mic night at Betty Jean’s Beans and Brew, a quirky coffee shop in a small college town. Meet the locals as they share stories, songs and a few good laughs. Slow down with a cup of coffee for a memorable night at Betty Jean’s, and maybe you’ll get a glimpse at the bigger picture.

    Runtime: 60 minutes.
    Appropriate for audiences 12+. Ideally suited for women’s events.

  • The Servant and the Enemy

    Available as a movie!

    Amma needs a miracle: she's a slave captive in a foreign land. Naaman, her cruel master, also needs miracle: he's in a losing battle with a devastating disease. A miracle is coming, from the prophet Elisha himself… but for whom? A new musical from Theater for the Thirsty wondering if God really is good… to all.
